We specialise in crafting customised metal world maps for both businesses and private clients. Typically, the dimensions are tailored to fit specific height and width requirements, depending on the installation space. However, our XL series stands out as the most frequently shipped size.
We've noticed a growing demand for larger and thicker maps, prompting us to develop a design that accommodates these needs while still fitting within our standard packaging. Our specially designed package remains compact enough for shipping via regular UPS freight. However, it's important to note that once our carton casing exceeds the dimensions of our XL package, UPS will no longer accept it for normal service. Instead, pallet service will be required for shipments when exceeding certain dimensions, resulting in a significant increase in shipping costs, sometimes making the shipping fee nearly as expensive as the steel map itself.
To mitigate this, we've optimised our map to align with the maximum allowed measurements. Our design revolves around ensuring the largest continent fits within these dimensions, ensuring the entire world map can be packaged efficiently with additional layers.

Measuring 285 cm (9 feet 4 inches) wide and 160 cm (5 feet 3 inches) high, the stainless steel world map in the XL series has a thickness of 5 mm (approximately 0.2 inches). Its mega strong construction results in a substantial weight, yet the inclusion of robust neodymium magnets in the installation kit ensures secure attachment to the wall.
